This article aims to reflect on how music therapy can help promoting teacher’s health and well-being in the school context. Through a literature review, the main challenges to contemporary teaching practice are considered, which can affect the health and well-being of teachers at the intrapersonal, interpersonal and ecological levels, on which professional music therapists must pay attention. It is considered that music therapy can assist teachers through different musical experiences, suggesting some interventive perspectives in line with the challenges and difficulties pointed out.
