This article presents a reflection on the aesthetic perception in Music Therapy from clinical basis, with permission for publication. The basic concepts are: music child, condition child and Musicing, which are important to understand the clinical treatment. This proposal does not seek to uncover a music therapy process, but rather the senses of musical structures in line with the music child. A result found and discussed in the text is the aspect of "extension" because an extension of the musicality is simultaneous to the extension of the general conditions of the client. Musical aesthetics perception integrates cognition and provides clinical basis to the use of music as therapy.
