MUSICOTERAPIA NA AFASIA DE EXPRESSÃO: UM ESTUDO DE CASO

Resumo

Os sujeitos afásicos expressivos podem preservar a capacidade de cantar palavras de músicas familiares. O presente trabalho visou descrever o tratamento musicoterápico em uma paciente com afasia de expressão pós AVC e verificar a efetividade da musicoterapia através da avaliação neuropsicolinguística pré e pós intervenção. O desempenho da paciente manteve-se estável na maioria das funções. No entanto, houve uma melhora em algumas habilidades linguísticas, no Índice de Fala e na atenção (NEUPSILIN-Af).
