INTERVENÇÃO MUSICOTERÁPICA PARA MÃE-BEBÊ PRÉ-TERMO - IMUSP: PARTE 1

Resumo

O presente artigo apresenta o referencial teórico que embasou a conceptualização e o desenvolvimento do protocolo da Intervenção Musicoterápica para Mãe-Bebê Pré-termo - IMUSP, elaborado para aplicação em Unidades de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal (UTI Neo). Inicialmente, descreve-se o contexto da prematuridade e suas repercussões para os bebês pré-termo e suas famílias. Na sequência, examina-se as principais intervenções precoces centradas na família realizadas na UTI Neo. Por fim, são apresentados estudos nacionais e internacionais sobre a musicoterapia na UTI Neo, que nas últimas décadas tem se destacado como uma intervenção promissora para favorecer o desenvolvimento de recém-nascidos prematuros, a saúde mental materna e a interação mãe-bebê. No artigo seguinte (Parte 2), será descrito em detalhes o protocolo da IMUSP, bem como sua aplicação e adaptação para a prática clínica.
