Abstract
The objective of the present paper is the elaboration of a chart related to audiomusicverbal aspects for observing the development of children that could be used as a tool of an objective analysis of the realizations observed in children, thus enabling their monitoring and identification of development problems. It was worked out based on the literatures regarding the indicators that characterize the initial stages of the development in the fields of: Neurology, Music Education, Music Therapy and Speech Therapy, added to the practical experience in three decades of professional actuation in music education, in the above-mentioned age. The chart is applied in children with typical (education) and atypical (physical rehabilitation center) development for verification. In this second year of use, some bibliographic material was added. It was adopted by the music therapy department of the Associação de Assistência à Criança Deficiente – AACD (a Brazilian care center of disabled children). So, we can conclude that the creation of this practical material helped the work of professionals of this area, offering a better monitoring of each patient and a better comprehension of the treatment evolution by the multidisciplinary team.
