Abstract

the aim of this article is to provide an experience report of a music therapy clinical work through the use of telehealth and a synthesis of the literature on research, conducted by health professionals, with people with ASD and their families through the use of this approach. A systematic review was conducted and has demonstrated that some professional fields are involved on the investigation of this topic not only because of the coronavirus pandemie but also aiming to open new possibilities for treatment to some population and improving the dialogue among research and practice. Results have demonstrated that telehealth approach is appropriate facilitating therapeutic goals such as behavior regulation, social communication and tasks accomplishments.
