MUSICOTERAPIA, REABILITAÇÃO COGNITIVA E DOENÇA DE ALZHEIMER: REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA

Resumo

Trata-se de uma revisão de literatura que objetiva ampliar conhecimentos acerca do uso da musicoterapia na reabilitação cognitiva em pacientes com Doença de Alzheimer (DA). Foram utilizadas as bases de dados Pubmed, Scielo e Scopus de artigos publicados entre janeiro de 2002 a agosto de 2012 nos idiomas português, inglês e espanhol e que tivessem seus resumos disponíveis e constassem no título as palavras música ou musicoterapia e DA relacionados a algum aspecto da cognição. Foram encontrados 136 artigos, apenas quatro foram incluídos. Todos os estudos utilizaram a música de forma receptiva para avaliar a influência sobre a fluência verbal, memória, memória autobiográfica e memória musical de pacientes com DA. Apesar da vasta publicação envolvendo musicoterapia e DA, ainda é reduzido o número sobre musicoterapia, reabilitação cognitiva e DA. Espera-se que novas investigações sejam realizadas buscando resultados advindos da intervenção musicoterapêutica para subsidiar a prática clínica.
