Modulação da percepção da dor através da música e da vibroacústica. uma revisão da literatura

Resumo

A dor é uma experiência sensorial e emocional desagradável associada a danos reais ou potenciais dos tecidos. As estratégias não-farmacológicas de tratamento incluem as derivadas da terapia musical. As técnicas reactivas representam um conjunto de abordagens dentro do campo da musicoterapia em que os utilizadores ouvem e respondem à experiência musical silenciosamente, verbalmente ou não. Especificamente, a musicoterapia vibroacústica consiste na utilização de ondas pulsadas de baixa frequência, rítmicas, senoidais entre 30 Hz e 120 Hz, misturadas com música para fins terapêuticos. Nos últimos anos, tem habido provas do efeito da audição de música em combinação com estimulação vibro-acústica sobre aspectos psicofisiológicos, para que possa ser considerada uma alternativa de tratamento não farmacológico da dor. O objectivo deste documento é fornecer informação de base sobre os mecanismos subjacentes à redução da percepção da doratravés da audição de música e da estimulação vibro-táctil. Embora até agora escasso, os estudos apresentados mostram o potencial da terapia musical vibroacústica como tratamento para a redução da auto-percepção da dor pelas pessoas. Este trabalho pretende ser um contributo teórico para o campo da musicoterapia e um ponto de partida para a continuação da investigação básica e aplicada para expandir a evidência de métodos de musicoterapia reactivos.
