VOCAL HEALTH PROFILE OF MUSIC THERAPY STUDANTS

Abstract

The present study aimed to investigate the vocal health profile of Music Therapy students regarding habits and vocal complaints experienced during the practice of traineeship. Participants were 19 subjects, aged between 19 and 47 years who answered a self-assessment questionnaire. The results indicated that despite intense use your voice the subjects did not perform vocal warm-up before their curricular internship activities. The most vocal complaints were present hoarseness and constant throat clearing.
