The search of music therapists in Brazil has been performed in different post-graduate studies. This paper discusses the results of the Working Group of Music Therapy in the XIX Congress of ANPPOM - National Association for Research and Graduate Studies in Music, 2009. The main objective was to update the survey on research done by music therapists in Brazil, in 2003. Regarding the methodology is a bibliometric study on the titles of dissertations and theses available in the virtual curriculum of Lattes Platform of CNPq. It is expected to contribute to updating the figures of 2003 and initiate further studies on the objects of research conducted in Brazil.
