This study investigated the effects of music therapy intervention through the combined application of five assessment scales: the Brazilian version of the three Nordoff Robbins Scales, the Musical Development Scale for Children with Autism (DEMUCA), and the Brazilian version of the Individualized Music Therapy Assessment Profile (IMTAP). The sample consisted of 35 participants, predominantly children with diverse diagnoses, who underwent a total of 847 music therapy sessions. The data were collected to verify the significance of scores before and after the interventions, as well as how these scores correlated. The results showed significant effects on the assessed items, particularly the Nordoff Robbins and IMTAP Scales. DEMUCA presented a smaller number of significant items, which may reflect both the sensitivity of the scale and the characteristics of the sample. Correlation analyses indicated strong associations between the scales, suggesting concurrent validity between them. It is concluded that the integrated application of these instruments provides a comprehensive view of the therapeutic process, validating their complementary use in clinical practice.
