Abstract

The Mario de Andrade’s conference and article Musical Therapy preceded the beginning of Brazilian music therapy. It should be mister lead it to be included in our music therapy, for its historical value, but also contain elements that were to become significant in the development of scientific music therapy, in particular the role of rhythm and melody in its relation with the human being.
