Abstract

This is a study of quantitative approach, prospective, whose goal is to determine the profile of the observation of clinical practice (OPC) in two courses in the area of health (music therapy and medicine). Data collection was performed using a questionnaire developed by the researchers for this particular study. We included students of undergraduate courses in Music Therapy, Federal University of Goiás, of Medicine, Catholic University of Brasilia and UNIRG Foundation, of both sexes, aged over 18 years and have attended or attending discipline related to observation clinical practice. The project was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Goiás. The total number of questionnaires were 131. The results showed that students in all three courses, considered that the OPC is of great importance to the training, but most noted as insufficient time available to the discipline. We hope that this study will bring contributions from academic content of the proposed debate and reflection on the OPC
